Spettro della cometa C/2015 V2 (Johnson)

Lo spettro della cometa è stato ripreso da Roma la sera del 27 maggio 2017 con un telescopio da 20 cm ed uno spettroscopio Alpy 600 abbinato ad una camera CCD SXV-M7. Lo spettro è il risultato della somma di 9 singole pose da 600 secondi guidate sul nucleo della cometa, il cui movimento era di 2.7 arcosecondi al minuto.
Si tratta di uno spettro di riflettanza, ottenuto dalla divisione dello spettro della cometa con quello di una stella di tipo solare (G2V) posta nelle vicinanze (stessa massa d'aria). Lo spettro mostra in modo molto evidente la riga CN del cianogeno a 3880 A e di minore intensità le bande molecolari C2, C3.

The spectrum of the comet  was shot from Rome on May 27, 2017 with a 20 cm telescope and an Alpy 600 spectroscope by a  SXV-M7 CCD camera. The spectrum is the result of the sum of 9 images, 600 second each, on the comet's core, whose motion was 2.7 arcseconds per minute.
This is a reflection spectrum, obtained by dividing the  spectrum of the comet by that of a solar  type (G2V) star in the vicinity (same air mass). The spectrum shows very clearly the CN line of the cyanogen at 3880 A and, with less intensity, the molecular bands C2, C3.
